About the event\/conference “Tage der Biodiversit\u00e4t”<\/span><\/span><\/h6>

The Research Area \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Mountain Regions\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at the University of Innsbruck is the organizer of the #IMC conference and #S4SSS summerschool series. Its foundation was motivated by the University\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s long tradition of research in mountain areas worldwide, combined with its location in the European Alps.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

#IMC builds upon previous mountain conferences and aims to continue this scientific conference series exclusively targeted towards mountain-research. Hosted in the Alps, #IMC provides an excellent opportunity for experts from different disciplines to discuss mountain-related issues in a cross-disciplinary setting with flexible formats. The key goals of the conference are to synthesize and enhance our understanding of mountain systems, in particular their response and resilience to global change.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
